Have you ever been in a situation where you were asked to give a presentation and you had no idea what to say?

Everyone knows that it’s very important to build creditably by speaking whether that’s on camera or on a stage.

Coming up with what to say can be absolutely paralyzing. Especially if it's your own personal story.

You may feel embarrassed to share the story or fear people will judge you.

The reality is that by sharing a personal story with your audience they will be more connected with you therefore making it easier to sell them your product or services.

In my many years of giving presentations on stage and on camera I have a couple of tricks which will help you overcome this problem.

First of you you have to understand what is the most wanted result from your ideal client is looking for?

Another way of thinking about it is what pain are you solving.

Then you will need to link your personal story to that pain point of your ideal client. There doesn't need to be a direct connection. Ideally you're connecting the feelings together.

Next you will need to have a teaching moment which can solve the problem or alleviate the pain they are feeling.

When you have both of those components then you can ask for something... that may be for them to join your email list, have a consultation or take an action.
