This as a pretty complex spot, especially for motion graphics. The sheer number of pieces in the flower/owl design was a lot to rig and setup. Most of it was single control setups, nothing too fancy, just a lot. This project really helped boost my KeyTools toolset for transferring, offsetting and manipulating keyframe data across a range of objects. For example, I'd animate a single flower pedal opening, transfer it to the remaining pedals and slightly offset the keys and values to give a bit more natural breakup for the same motion. Then for the owl, the screen left wing was animated, and anim mirrored to the right and again slightly offset.
As a side note, I've always wanted to go to EDC, but this is a close as I'll probably get to it :)
