SET SAIL THE 'SHIP! This was the big romantic moment for the main characters, not to mention a big action scene, so... yeah, all my jam with a cherry on top :)
Rayla's action is mostly choreographed to her movements, which makes it a lot easier than other fights (like Harrow and Sarai) where you need to set up more of a dance. Here it's a solo performance, a lot like a VFX fight where the actor does a bunch of punching and kicking the air, and the bad guys get brought in later.
I wish I knew who added the color at the end for Rayla and Callum's moment, I'm pretty sure it wasn't me. Might have been Francisco. There's alternative endings for this sequence (not the big moment, which was fully scripted, but the reactions of Bait, Nyx and Zym) which will probably never be seen, they were funny to draw but I'm not surprised they never made it to animatic, much less animation. Mostly a lot of eye-rolling. Sometimes we just have fun. :)
