This piece is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional rain-dance ritual performed by the BaKalanga people of North Eastern Zimbabwe. Set in the present day and touching on the topical issue of the current global water crisis, the BaKalanga people call upon the "iWosana" who will communicate with the ancestors and god Mwali through movement, in a hope to bring the rain.
