While playing around in my garage gym on leg day, I was looking for a way to implement a leg press.

You can use the gymnastic rings to suspend the barbell while you sit back on the bench and do a leg press.

So the DIY leg press machine was born.

You also want to add resistance bands from barbell to the weight rack so the tension/resistance is in line horizontally.

Just make sure your feet are on the barbell's knurling so you have a solid grip and control the movement from beginning to end so you don't hurt yourself.

When you're done with your set, always keep your arms on the bar while you take your feet off.

Just another one of my garage gym ideas for those looking to spice things up without breaking the bank.
