Distant Construction embodies the feeling of being at home. Consisting of nine dancers from different parts of the world, each bring a unique history that fuse to form an atmosphere brimming with nostalgic feelings that are deeply personal, yet completely universal. As the dancers become the architects of their environment, the piece invites the viewer into a space designed by movement. The result is a temporary remedy for homesickness, a tribute to the place where my parts fit into the puzzle.
