Life is a series of endless experiences in space. The space is filled with various objects
with different physical properties, and many actions take place while we are together
there, but we do not recognize it.
There are dramatic moments in this heartless and monotonous daily life that evokes
our senses. These moments awaken our perception and make an inner reverberation
to enrich our lives in that experience is created in relation to things that we perceive
and sense. It can also be called a ‘poetic moment’ in an implicit sense of making you
feel more and realize a new sense in a moment.
We saw the possibility of creating these moments in a lenticular material that
changes according to the user's position and movement. The five artists participating
in this exhibition expressed the ‘poetic moments’ that each thinks by utilizing the

material characteristics of Lenticular in various ways which are different from the
existing.
I hope that this exhibition will be a 'poetic moment' that allows modern people who
pass many things around because they live a busy life to focus on their senses and
evoke themselves.

D.Band
- D.Band is a group of designers who aim to improve the culture of living space through
research and development of lenticular materials.
A lenticular sheet is a plastic material with a microlens on one surface, which realizes
visual effects such as 3D structure and transformation on the image printed on the
back. It is a material with great potential and extensibility because it shows interactive
effects in a simple and analog way and enables various expressions according to data.
In order to explore a new approach that goes beyond lenticular's existing use, we plan
to collaborate with various fields such as space, furniture, products, graphics, and
photos, hope that Lenticular will be used as a material to invigorate living spaces and
inspire design and crafts.
