Before becoming a Communication Design student at BTK, I mostly worked as a photographer, focussing on working backstage and doing portraiture work.

This project introduces a feeling that I’ve experienced repeatedly throughout my life: a loop of feeling unhappy perhaps borderline disgusted by my old work, drawing a connection to who I used to be when.

This project is intended to expose that ongoing fear of mine and send out a reminder to others who, even if at times, may feel the same - you are not your work and it is okay to grow.

It is marketed towards creative students of college age - a quick video reminder that it is okay to grow both as a human and as a creative.

Given more time I would work on getting professional equipment - to film the stop motion animation itself and record the audio. Apart from that, if I were to continue developing this concept, I would ask some of my fellow students to collaborate and turn it into a community project. Bringing to light the important of self reflection both as a human being and a designer.
