Angeli's artist statement:
"dancing in our sleep" researches ideas of care and vulnerability in the collective, as we move and lead each other in slowness through the gallery during the opening reception. Through movement within crossings and between places, it generates the liminal and re-worlds both the current political moment of immigration issues at the border and the social landscape of what it means to support other bodies as women.
