Creating a fairy in Photoshop and using Character Animator to bring her to life. This fairy, however, has a mind of her own.

The original painting took a little over 2 hours to make (the process is compressed into a couple minutes here.) It took me about a month and a half to do the animation. The background is a collage of free stock photos, greatly modified and enhanced in Photoshop. Had I more time, I would have painted that as well, but I have other projects that need my attention. I had originally intended to spend just a couple weeks on this project, but I fell in love with this character and had to tell a little more of her story as it occurred to me. (And I just had to add the frog.)
