We are entering an unprecedented era for conservation in Canada with a federal pledge to protect 25% of our lands and waters by 2025.
CPAWS Manitoba has already helped more than double protected areas in the province in the past decade through the establishment of 21 new parks and protected areas measuring more than 38,000 square kilometers.
Our work has been possible thanks to the support of tens of thousands of Manitobans who joined the fight to Keep Manitoba Wild by signing our petitions and donating their time and their money.
We are particularly grateful to the First Nations who have partnered with us to conserve Manitoba's lands and water in a spirit of reconciliation.
