Here I speak with Jocelynne Lake who lives in Cape Town. She is a regular dancer from pre-Covid days who has joined many of the online sessions over the past few months. Jocelynne shared her journey with dance from discovering Movement Medicine during a workshop in Zimbabwe to now feeling the support of movement at home, during lockdown. We spoke about dance as a source of strength during challenging times, the power of connection with others, even via zoom, and the importance of grounding through our bodies when fear takes us into our heads.
