This is both a technical animation reel and an animation research question. I'm curious about the patterns of movement that create character behaviour. What are the patterns that connect us and which are the ones that make us unique? What is the simplest form a character can take and can I use maths to express their emotions? These questions and many more will be explored on this research project called Character Essences.
