This piece is a tribute to the sidescrolling, platform-jumping NES video games like Super Mario Bros., Castlevania and Metroid that I loved so much as a kid and that continue to inspire me. I produced the animation for “Cave Run” in one day, just like all of my recent animated work. The music, rendering and titles took a little more time. I’m really proud of it and I hope you enjoy watching.
