In this project I have used the Bolex, 16MM guerilla filmmaking. My main focus was to explore the intellectual capacities of this tool. I explored the human movement during the cold season. It was challenging shooting the outdoor scene. Because stepping boldly through the woods covered with snow made me think of discovering a new land. Trust and determination was part of each step in the process of my filming. The actors are extremely important to me. They are part of my success.

I have decided to call this short film “ CATARINA ” which simply means Catherine in Spanish. This film is a tribute to my mother. Also the crystal scene depicts how precious she is to my father. Both her and my father are an important part of my life. As for the mini collie which is their favorite pet but most of all it portrays a guardian. It has been an extremely productive experience for me. Being behind the Bolex was not an easy task. From my point of view, certain rules of the game must not be ignored if the artist wants to achieve great results but also to fulfill a dream. My dream is to lead others with all my heart.
