Two channel video installation with two screens, 8 mins, 2017
Inspired from my teenage memory, this video installation represents a trauma, a growing tension between two figures. Seen from a psychological view, the two figures are in the one. The spectral existence invades the space and time, even the most private one that we have. The ghost haunts our mind to push us to the verge of nervous breakdown. Our inner spirit confronts the ghost-like enemy who is omnipresent. We barely escape from it -our perception, consciousness and self-identity are transformed, divided and disrupted. Breathlessis presented on two screens side by side. The action is mirrored and split between two screens, bouncing from one to the other. The viewer is invited to complete the history with their gaze and imagination as they are wholly emerged in the narrative consisting of imagery and sonorous installation.
