You could never really tell, boredom arrives when we least expect it. Haunting as the hymns my mother used to hum after saying another prayer to keep me safe. My thoughts are no longer mine but those of my surroundings. A familiar old friend with no sense of boundaries. Whirlwinds to wildfires fuelling my curiosity. A source of divine energy, that constantly follows. We yearn for an escape yet find ourselves in the middle. Like a nucleus I'm in the centre of it all. A constant, tossing, turning, dreaming to be, the figments of my imagination come to life. I am reminded to honour the ground that carries me. We are the spirit and the dreams of those who came before us. I take action and allow myself to feel. As it stands I can’t clearly tell what it is and from which direction it comes. None of it matters, you can’t take control anyway. I follow and I trust and I don’t try to understand. Ideas born out of boredom
