In this video, I'm previewing an upcoming series called Creative on the Rings. This is me playing around in the planning stages and maybe it gives you some ideas to work with. Otherwise, you'll at least have a sense of where this series will go.
In the coming videos, I'll show you the basic ring exercises and show you creative ways to expand those exercises into primal movement. By bringing elements of play and flow into the practice, you'll build practical / functional strength and have a lot of fun doing it.
The gymnastics rings are an amazing tool for upper body strength & conditioning...but surprisingly they don't get a lot of press.
The rings aren't just for gymnasts doing impossible feats. The rings are a tool, like any piece of fitness equipment. Anyone interested in getting stronger and developing better body control can benefit from ring training.
