My video-piece focuses on the constant stream of content, which we are being fed through online platforms in a kind of discombobulated yet harmonious arrangement. When we access platforms such as YouTube, some of the content is tailored to our personal preferences based on algorithms, but most parts of viewing seems to be completely non- sensical; it may seem that the mass- majority of us are being engulfed into a hyper – reality of meaningless engagement. I have created an animation, which breaks free from the stereotypical aesthetically- pleasing social and image culture, deconstructing all sense of perfect human form.
