A quick study of a fellow wandering around in my yard. What's interesting about this is, that the bird's feet and head are on different time signatures and the body is almost motionless. It says a lot about the physiology of these birds, and how it's different from our own where the head tends to get thrown about as a kind of guide for the rest of our bodies. Birds, not so much. For pigeons and doves, their eyes are on either side of their heads so there's a ton of movement that is extremely different from our own. They're piecing together what they see with each eye. Between that and getting themselves moving, there's a *lot* going on.
