I would like to make an animated film to raise awareness of the need for bird conservation on the island of Cyprus from trapping and hunting. Here I have started to experiment with pencil drawn and cut out flying sequences of birds, trying to capture movement correctly. I'm interested in silhouette and stop motion techniques of Lotte Reiniger and would like to try animating cut outs of birds with moving parts next. I have photographed drawings and cut outs here using my phone and used Stop Motion Studio app to animate them.
