What Is Be More: Be More is an organization committed to teaching youth the importance of self-esteem and mental wellbeing, and examining the role that social media plays in their lives. Constant, uneducated exposure to social media is creating an epidemic of kids with poor self-image, high levels of anxiety, and under-developed relationship skills. By creating a community of support, encouragement, and empowerment through our in-school curriculum and digital campaigns, Be More teaches kids how to build each other up and prevent negative conversations and behaviors that often lead to poor self-esteem, eating disorders, anxiety, and many other mental health issues. We offer in-school curriculum, community events and digital resources to teach teenagers about social media literacy, self-esteem and positive self-worth through evidence-based mindfulness practices.
