I am excited to share with you that we will be starting a new social media campaign called Be More Mondays. This series will consist of videos explaining how we as a community help our kids Be More. This isn’t just an opportunity to celebrate one another, but also a call to action. Our goal is to not only spread awareness of the Sunrise story, but we also hope that others will prayerfully consider partnering with us to help children in crisis shine. At Sunrise, because of your support, we are able to remind the kids that they can Be More, more than a product of the state, more than their past pain, more than the abuse, more than the generational curses that have preceded them. My hope is that these videos will remind us of our “Why”.

We are asking community partners across the state to send in a video/voice recording explaining or describing the role they play in helping kids Be More. This doesn’t have to be formal or professional. We just want the chance to hear and share your stories. Feel free to use your cellphone cameras to record if you’d like. The video can go in the following format:

Introduction

· Name, Role within the community/church/business, how long you’ve partnered with Sunrise.

Your Be More story - Please be sure to include part you/Sunrise played with your story.

· How do you partner with Sunrise Children's Services?

I.E. Monetary donation, In-kind donation, or Volunteering.

· A memory of an impactful personal experience that you’ve had with a resident, foster family, or IL attendee.

· Why did you choose to partner with Sunrise? (Doesn’t have to exclusively be Sunrise related)

In order for us to share our videos across all social media platforms, we would like to keep the videos under a maximum of 90 seconds. We are wanting to try and have a story from every part of the Sunrise family. We encourage all of you to follow our social media accounts and to share our posts with-in your own network. We can’t wait to hear you stories as we begin to celebrate one another and re-introduce the world to the Sunrise Story.
