hey friends! here to talk to you about #ArtsHero: a grassroots campaign to get the US Senate to pass massive arts relief by 8/1. we need to mobilize every arts worker, institution & supporter to pressure all 100 US Senators to pass this legislation in the next month.
we’re asking for: 1) extended Pandemic Unemployment benefits 2) COBRA subsidies and 3) billions in relief for arts institutions so they can stay afloat & so we all have jobs to return to!
why are we asking for this? well, frankly, millions of us are unemployed with no industry to return to for who knows how long?
