Basic Income March was held in New York City on September 25, 2021. The short video was created by Ching Juhl, NYC filmmaker. The video is an overview of the 4-hour event. Links of each speakers will be available on Juhl Media's Youtube channel.

Joel Berg is the CEO of Hunger Free America and a nationally recognized leader and media spokesman in the fields of domestic hunger, food security, poverty, food-related economic development, national service, and volunteerism. He is also the author "All You Can Eat: How Hungry Is America?" and "America We Need to Talk: a Self Help Book for the Nation".

The Marching Cobras is a nonprofit marching band focused on at-risk youth in middle and high school. Their drumline, danceline, and flag programs provide opportunities for artistic expression and personal development for teens in New York City.

Theo Demel is 14 years old. He has been involved in politics since the age of 8, working in several political campaigns. These experience taught Theo a lot about his fellow New Yorkers and the challenges so many of us face, and convinced him of the dire need for implementation of Universal Basic Income.

James Felton Keith is an engineer, economist, and entrepreneur with a long history in grassroots activism around human rights, civil rights, and economic inclusion. In 2018, James was the first Black LGBTQ candidate to run for federal office in New York's 13th congressional district. He is one of the founders of the first Basic Income March in NYC in 2019, and continues to advocate for basic income and economic justice across New York.

Ching Juhl is a filmmaker, video journalist and musician. She is the founder of Juhl Media, and has published more than 700 videos with topics ranging from current events, live interviews and music productions. Ching Juhl's feature documentary My Yang Gang Diary, won the Best Feature Film at Toronto Documentary Film Festival in 2021.

Edward Lee is a New York based activist and media producer.

Noelle Kay is a singer/songwriter who was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. As a young scholar, she trained as a theater major at LaGuardia Arts High School and continues to be a creative activist who is actively involved in various communities teaching the youth media, music, and wellness.

Council member Carlos Menchaca represents New York City Council District 38, which includes Sunset Park, Red Hook, Greenwood Heights, and portions of Borough Park, Dyker Heights and Windsor Terrace. He is New York State’s first Mexican-American elected official and Brooklyn’s first openly gay office holder. He has introduced legislation supporting the rights of undocumented immigrants, as well as housing and economic justice, and continues to be a champion for the neighborhoods in his district in Brooklyn.

Shane Moynihan is a proud full-time stay-at-home father and UBI advocate, and is currently serving as the Organizing Chair for the New Leaf Democratic Club here in New York City. After earning an English Degree and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island, he worked in the healthcare industry until he was blessed with a child in 2016.

Diane Pagen is a social worker and a social policy analyst from Queens, NY. Diane has been interested in UBI since about 2002, when she found out about it while in social work school. Diane co-founded a local group, Basic Income NYC, in 2016 that held monthly meetings known as Basic Income Movie Nights. In 2019, she co-founded the Basic Income March with engineer and former Congressional candidate James Felton Keith. She believe the best was to help people and stop misuse and waste in social welfare systems is to have a national universal basic income.

Keiko Sono is a community based art producer and a founder of Forge Collective, an experimental lab for intrinsic motivation. She lives and works in Woodstock, New York, and has just begun her work as a think tank member for Creatives Rebuild New York, a basic income and employment program in New York State.

Conrad Shaw is an actor, producer and activist. Writer/filmmaker/UBI researcher currently living in upstate New York. Former mechanical engineer. Shaw is developing multiple web apps and film projects: Co-Founder of Comingle.us, Creator of UBIcalculator.com

Stacey Rutland, co-founded Particle Design in Portland Oregon, a product design agency doing work with Fortune 500 companies like Samsung and Intel. Her passion for economics, and background in technology led Stacey to fundraise and manage the volunteer technology team for Andrew Yang's presidential campaign in 2019. She is a founder of the Income Movement.
