Avatar·Mythology (2019) is an original creation commissioned by China Shanghai International Festival's Rising Artists Works (RAW) program. It is an interactive media dance theatre drawing on the worldview of Shan Hai Jing (Classic of Mountains and Seas), a Chinese classic text of mythic geography and beasts. Dance, real-time interactive animation, motion capture, and multiple projections are combined to create a semi-immersive theatrical experience.

The core co-creators of Avatar·Mythology (2019) are Zhang Yinan (producer & media artist), Li Yuejuan (visual art director), Jung Hyun Moon (media artist & technical director), Chiayi Jess Seetoo (choreographer & dancer), Cheng Yu Chien (choreographer & dancer)
