Asile est une installation sur le thème des libertés collectives. Une créature tente de se rendre à un oasis mais elle ne rencontre que des barrières. Le Cadre est la société ou elle vit, les choix des créatures est sagement étudiés et estimés dans leurs calculs.
La psychohistoire et les oeuvres de M.C Escher sont des sources d’inspirations pour créer Asile, les scènes font références à la prédestination de l’enfance dès l’entrée dans la société, les libertés collectives qui façonnent les citoyens dans le Cadre, le déterminisme comme une action inconsciente du gouvernement sur ses citoyens, la liberté personnel de franchir une frontière et d’en subir les conséquences du Cadre. Asile veut mettre en relation des libertés personnels et celles collectives dans la société.

Asylum is a video projection installation on the theme of collective freedoms. A creature tries to go to an oasis but it only confront by barriers. The Canvasis the society where it lives, the choices of creatures are wisely studied and estimated in their calculations which combines history, sociology, and statistics.
The psychohistory and the work of MC Escher are sources of inspiration to create Asylum, the scenes refer to the predestination of childhood upon entry into society, the collective freedoms that shape citizens in the Canvasis, determinism as an unconscious action of the government on their citizens, the personal freedom to cross a border and suffer the consequences of the Canvasis. Asylum wants to link personal freedoms with collective freedoms in society.
