This iOS & Android app provides the wine vintner unique ways to interact with and educate their customers.
After opening the app, the user is instructed to point their phone at the bottle of the wine. When the app recognizes the wine label using Vuforia image recognition, the app makes an API call to a custom backend application and streams a video fixed in space over the actual wine label. These videos are about the history of vineyard or poetic in nature.
In addition to the AR features, the wine customer can find AR hearts in the world around them. When they "pop" one of these hearts, they collect a unique message left for them by the company. These poems and motivational sayings can be customized in a number of ways and then shared with friends and family. When the receiving person taps the deep link using Branch.io, they will see the note and animation as it was customized within the app.
