Please enjoy this little 2D animation I created for a course at the University of Florida. The goal of this project was to practice 2D camera movement and storytelling with sound effects. The character design was adapted from my design of the player character from my "The Cat Burglar" 2D Unity game (check it out here: vimeo.com/394692045), changing my character from the sly thief into the "good guy" detective. I had previously puppeted the character and animated him fully in Toon Boom Harmony. I added the sound effects using After Effects.

In this animation, Curiosity the cat detective is happily strolling along when his mobile phone starts ringing. Things don't go well when he can't figure out how to turn it off.
