A key part of Ameren Missouri's strategy is to educate community leaders across the state about our business, operations and the benefits of the Smart Energy Plan. And that's the plan Ameren Missouri's Regulatory Affairs team put into action when they hosted a tour for the Missouri Chamber 2019 Leadership Class on Friday, June 14 at the General Office Building in St. Louis. The group of 40 business leaders from across Missouri visited the Emergency Operation Center, the Customer Service Center and took a tour of a nearby Smart Energy project. "The trip to the new Cass Substation energized the group," said Gaye Suggett, manager of regulatory affairs. "They were truly fascinated to see firsthand how we're building a smarter energy grid to provide more reliable service for our customers."
