The theme of the “incredible” makes me think of fairytales and the magical stories I used to adore as a child, with their whimsical characters. That is why I created this quite simple story about something incredible and surreal. Because the main inspirations behind this short film were farytailes, I decided to use a stop motion animation, to outdistance it from reality. I did the opposite with the dialog between the two characters, which is rendered with live action video clips, because, being about normal, every-day-like things, I preferred to keep it more grounded in reality. I also used a simple, homemade design to produce a nostalgic and child-like effect on the viewer.
