Commissioned by Action Aid, Ama's Story is based on the real account of a 15-year-old girl in Ghana who was abducted to become a child-bride. It works as part of their global campaign to end child marriage. The film highlights not only the dangers for young children around the world and the reality of forced marriages but also shows the work Action Aid is already doing to help combat this problem.
