I created this alebrije, to try out modeling something more hard surface than my usual work, which is organic and a lot of cloth and wrinkles. It was fun to model and transform a realistic insect ladybug into an alebrije, with a bit of a whimsical and fantastical touch.This small project was also to collaborate with my friend, Roly, to create a finished character, in this case an insect, and have it fully rigged, have a short animation and rendered out.
