Action community change is a Community Base Organisation, it was founded in 2018. Based within Lilongwe southeast Phiri la njuzi village T/A, Masumbankhunda community. The CBO’s mission statement is Changing and transforming communities through action. Its main goal is to create a better every-day life for all people in the community. The main objects of CBO are
1. Help protect and preserve the rights of the voiceless, women and children through early detection and prevention of rights abuses
2. Carry out projects that can lead to real empowerment of citizens so that they can instead meaningfully contribute towards the country’s sustainable development
3. Conduct citizen anchored studies that bring out that information that helps provide that missing link to the decisions that can lead to better attainment of Sustainable Development Goals
4. Provide physical support to the needy
5. Carry out sustainable activities that have a positive impact on the Community and the Environment.
We are operating in Group Village Headman Chimgonela, Traditional Authority Masumbankhunda Lilongwe district. Our target groups are Children, women and girls, youths and elderly people. Our current programs include
1. Children’s corner
2. Community based child care (CBCC)
3. Feeding program
4. Home based care (HBC)
5. Child protection
6. Supporting elderly people
7. Economic empowerment through Village Savings loans
We are raising funds to construct children learning shelter at Chimgonela village center which has one hundred and fifty children which are now using a church as a class,the church building is not in good condition as education standard requirement.
So help us to forfill our goal to build a learning shelter so tha the children should learn in good environment.
