It's sometimes hard to see that God is right beside us and holding onto us when we are covered by the shadows of life's trials. It might feel impossible to find that stillness and peace when we can't see beyond this world. We must walk by faith and not by sight. When we bring our focus to God, He illuminates our life with His own Light so that we can walk with boldness and without any fear. He is with us. In the Absence, He is ever Present, and when darkness seems to be surrounding us, we will always be enfolded by His light.
“Absent Presence" is a cinematic piece focusing on the contrast of light and dark and expressing this through visual metaphors. I have combined live action self-shot footage with 3D design and animation (Mixed Media).
