At the late afternoon on 21st Sept 2019, the team from Natura Resort shared its deep respect with gratitude to the mother-earth for the “World Cleanup Day Campaign”, which organized by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Environment in Cambodia.
The event was taken place at Siem Reap River started from Preah Enkosei Bridge toward to Angkor Conservation Centre’s road and from Naga Bridge to be ended in front of Rokkhak River Resort with more than 20 participants – all are environment lovers.
Cleaning activities are in the mind of people who locally placed in and it is a quotidian responsibility for everybody to look after the place and make the areas that you belong to be safe, sanitation and clean as much as the action takes you. Similarly, it has been a culture and ethos for the people in Siem Reap that constantly keep cleaning the city, keep planting the trees and keep reducing the plastics are the core principle for the entire social stratum and every household of the country.
Notwithstanding we are the small group of people who began the mission today but we felt very belonging, in a part of showing the enormous thankfulness and obligation in the name of local people who are regularly getting the survive from Angkor and share the job vacancies to the people in the area.
Before we enclose our statement, we would like to express our thanks to the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Environment for sharing us the opportunity to do this job and got the job done very smoothly. Yet thanks to the team for sharing your responsibility joined this campaign!
