A Trigger Point Pilates® class combines Pilates’ core moves with trigger point release and clinical Myofascial principles to help alleviate chronic pain conditions using equipment. The class is designed to release tight muscles enhance functional daily movement and restructure the body.
The program helps to release the body from inside to out targeting the connective tissue that surrounds every muscle and joint. Enabling one to move with ease, release painful conditions, and have a better functional life.

The equipment that you will need includes:
· A foam roller that is 35” x 4 - 6”. If you do not have a roller, then you can use along towel rolled up tight.
· A Pilates bender ball. If you do not have one, then a cushion or half-deflated football (soccer ball!) will work!
· A long, low-resistance dyna band/flexaband. Tights or leggings work well as a substitute here. It needs to be stretchy!
· 2 spiky massage balls 3’’ to 4”. They need to be soft and have some give. You can use tennis/lacrosse balls or two rolled-up socks in their place.
