A hen will lay an average of 530 eggs during its lifetime. The animation is made of 530 hand drawn eggs each one taking up one frame. By going through the process of drawing every individual egg by hand, I attempt to capture the sheer volume of effort and resources necessary to produce so many eggs. It is intended to act as a reminder that each individual egg has the potential to be a new life… or an omelet.
