The suit signs of the Tarot's minor arcana (and other Italian playing cards) are often shown in floral decorations. We might sequence them as in this animation.
As a long term side project we're working on a documentary/visual-essay about the history of the tarot cards. It's a puzzle that will gradually be cut and pasted together from a wild range of visual material.
