1. Hit the Pause Button
Give yourself some time and space before you have to make your decision. 

2. Take Time to Reflect
Ask yourself some questions. Why are you feeling this way? Don’t forget to be honest with yourself! 

3. Ask for Advice
Seek guidance of people you trust. There are people in your life that can help you see things from a different perspective. 

Bonus: Be prepared to act differently
Sometimes after we take time to pause, reflect, and ask for advice, we still want to go with our initial reaction. Be sure you are ready to change your course of action and respond in the best way possible.
