In the Film Industry, a good work of pre-production, design and planification is crucial before starting with the final mass production.
Sometimes, 2D animators must create some references that later will be used by the 3D team to create the action in the final scenes.
This video contains some of these references that I made at the Chinese Studio BuBu Pictures Co.Ltd in the last two years, for their TV series "Muma Family", "Neighbour Star", and a co-production for the new "Mole´s World" reboot.
It includes walking and running cycles for some main characters, key posing, key framing, timming and animation changes and retakes references, some action references, and, in short, some material which may help the 3D team to understand better the psychology and way to move of each character, according to its personality.
Most animations are in rough for they were only references to follow, not final images.
