2017 2D Animation Reel

Animated content produced from 2014 to 2017. Mostly animated in Harmony, with just a tiny splash of Flash and a pattering of good ol' faithful Photoshop.

For Season 03 of THE AWESOMES, I was both a Storyboard Artist and a Key Animator. The fight with the furniture guy was one that I was able to both board and animate, which is always a treat. A lot more of my work on this show can be seen on the 2014 reel. It was my first show in Harmony, but by this point I was beginning to feel almost competent.

For Season 03 of RICK & MORTY, I served as Lead Animator on episodes 04 and 08 and as a Senior Animator on episodes 03, 05, 06, 09 and 10, animating complex sequences or revising submitted work. RAM is also animated in Harmony, but requires significantly more complex approaches than my previous work, and traditional skills served me really well on the show.

In SQUIDBILLIES S10E08 ("Squash B'gosh") I built sequences for the various squash zombies and animated a few of the action scenes, providing roughs for the cleanup team regularly working the show.

I CAN DO THAT was a :30 spot for Slim Jims, as presented by characters from the Adult Swim series AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE. I storyboarded the spot and then animated characters to match legacy assets and 3D content.

BORN TO SHINE is a music video for Big Grams, the collaboration of artists Big Boi and Phantograms, featuring Run The Jewels.

THE BARTKIRA PROJECT was an online collaborative effort to reimagine the original trailer for 1988's AKIRA as cast by THE SIMPSONS, animated in the style of Klasky Csupo. Though I think I went a little more early Film Roman.
