Originally a six week, after hours, project using the DOS version of Autodesk Animator and an early digital tablet, output to video with a Chopin waltz from a 1917 78rpm recording. Fortunately, it was also output as a series of jpegs, which allowed this 640 x 480 collection of images to be re-imported into a video editor and modified with the addition of a superimposed TV screen. About 2000 drawings were used. Multiple layers required each one to be generated, then superimposed, frame-by-frame, onto another layer of animation before the sandwiching effect of the process could be viewed. Ran as part of a 2012 installation before being completely re-rendered in 2019 for archiving.
