She is a Syrian activist and women’s rights defender, the creator of campaigns such as Women Refugees Not Captives,the Indigenous – Refugees movement, and a founding member of the Syrian Women's Political Movement. Forced to leave her home in Syria, she now works as a liaison officer with the Syrian White Helmets in Montreal. She's not slowing down any time soon. Hear it from her above!
