16/7 is a collaboration between artists attempting to peel back the many layers of imposed identity, amongst a society that is rapidly shifting and consuming.
We journey inwards, often painfully, to discover an authentic sense of self, digging deeper, unpacking the layers and attempting to understand the roots of our intuition. The conflict between internal and external states, masculine and feminine demands recognition and resolution. In us lies a deep desire to continually evolve beyond societal limitations and at the core of this is the will to acknowledge the true power of the physical, emotional and energetic body and its unique individual potential.
This project was inspired by the journey of self; the immediacy of present life but the simultaneous transformative challenges. We endure change and space is created, a reawakening rises and enlightens those that embrace it.
