The iQ FOiL European Championships have started with its first day, but due to difficult weather conditions the next races had to be postponed to the next days of the Engadinwind 2020. Instead, yesterday some athletes took part in a freestyle tow-in super session to use Sunday for some fun on the Lake Silvaplana. Participants could win up to 400 CHF. Stefan de Bell, Lennart Neubauer, Yentel Caers (Point 7), Niclas Nebelung (Duotone/Fanatic), Riccardo Marca (Duotone/Fanatic), Aron Etmon, yesterdays winner Antoine Albert (Goya/Goya) and Jeremy Plüss joined the show. Yentel Caers proved that he wasn’t only one of the best windsurfers in the world, but also a pretty good showman. Caers ejected himself off the board into double front flips and a superman ‚flight‘. The crowd on the beach absolutely loved the show that the Belgian put on. Stefan de Bell attempted an air spock which brought him some instant cash by the judges too. Niclas Nebelung landed a super clean air funnell into funnell and also earned some money for this clean trick.
