As we move towards electric vehicles (EVs) tailpipe emissions will fall. Recent studies show that tyre wear is the second largest contributor microplastic pollution. In fact, tyre wear emission will continue to rise due to heavier electric vehicles and driving habits. The future of vehicle pollution will not come from gas emissions, but from tyres.
The Tyre Collective aims to mitigate emissions by collecting them at the source with our novel device and bring the issue of tyre wear to the forefront.
