2 Guys come at night and steel a dingy, row out to a boat and steel electronic equipment and solar panels from the boat.

One of the boats mored in our bay was rowed out to and broken into last night with equipment taken such as solar panels, DVD players, TV, radios etc. The owner (who lives in Tai Tapu) came to see me today to ask if I had any camera footage from last night that might help in tracking down the culprits. A small dinghy was stolen to row out to the boat and it had washed up on the shore this morning. I went through the footage from last night but it was a busy night with it being fireworks night n all.. anyway we suspected it happened between 10 and 11 because the sound of a dinghy being pulled down the ramp was heard by another neighbour at that time. After reviewing all the footage from the cameras, these two guys are the only suspicious looking people out there at this time. They seem to drive down to the quiet corner of the car park just after 10pm then about an hour later we see the car with its lights off driving slowly north then up Harbour View and parking outside number 26 Harbour View. Two people come out of that car and one appears to be carrying a sack (something found at the crime scene later it turns out). Night vision is poor on these cameras unfortunately but one of the guys has a tattoo sleeve on his left arm and is wearing a white baseball cap and a light coloured short sleeved top and dark jeans, white soled shoes. The other has a cap also and loose clothing with shorts and shoes with reflectors on the back. This is being reported to the police along with this footage so if anyone else has camera footage from last night that might piece together what happened here that would be helpful. OR if this is legitimately someone from the bay that was innocently out walking in the dark at 11pm we could eliminate these guys.. Its frustrating that we need to post stuff like this and make this Facebook page all about crime but it is what it is I guess. Here is the video I have:
