63 MINUTE TAPE is an experiment in digital memory. I filmed my father on my 28th birthday
(Dec 27th 2018) as we drove through the BC Interior. My father being a lifelong truck driver has an incredible amount of stories but his brain works in mysterious ways and only recalls events in correlation to great truck crashes or vehicle registration. Over the length of the tape, and the constant hum of the engine, I learn about my dad in a new context, and start to understand how we are similar but think differently even though we have the same future in mind.
