In commemoration of World Hepatitis Day 2019, Dr Bob Wallace, Medical Director of "Love the Golden Rule" in St Petersburg, Florida, prepared a very exciting and unique surprise. He arranged a first time meeting with a surviver of a gun attack - Reverend Elzo Atwater, Jr. after 37 years. Mr. Atwater was shot twice in 1982 during a robbery at one of his restaurants and was saved by a team of 13 doctors which included Dr. Bob as an intern at the time. Because of the emergency Dr. Bob used his fingers to stop the blood of the victim until they were able to stabilized the blood pressure and stuttered the wound during an open heart surgery. As a result of the blood transfusion he received he acquired Hepatitis C, which he didn't know until he had kidney failure and during the dialysis process found out and got cured with the new advanced medication in a few weeks. The task ahead is to find a kidney donor for a transplant. This video is the second part of this unbelievable story.
